Max and Nelson

Apologies to Nelson Mandela!  Max chose him for his school biography subject, and part of it was to make a sock puppet of whomever was chosen.

Notice just a touch of grey in the hair, his red bowtie, and life-like hands.  Max wanted to have him holding something in his left hand, but I said that he should be waving.  Max asked why.  "Because he's in a lot of parades," I said.  "Are you joking," Max said.  "No.  He's a very popular man."
